Terms and conditions
Client = Referred to as the person traveling.
Chaperoned Holidays is the sole contracted agent for:
Booking
- Each client traveling will need to complete the online booking form and forward it to Chaperoned Holidays.
- Upon receipt of the client’s booking form, we will confirm the client’s eligibility via email.
- On confirmation of the client’s eligibility, we will send an email confirming the full holiday itinerary and payment details.
- Upon completing and submitting the booking form for any of Chaperoned Holidays each client is bound by Chaperoned Holidays terms and conditions.
- Each Chaperoned Holidays client is to abide by the airline, hotel, transport, transfer, restaurant, and excursions terms, conditions, and regulations.

Payments
- We will require a non-refundable deposit of £300 of the total holiday cost if the client is booking less than eight weeks prior to departure.
- The client may make a full payment for the holiday if they wish.
- The balance of the holiday cost is payable eight weeks prior to the departure date. If the balance payment is not received by this date, we reserve the right to treat the booking as canceled and any deposits paid by the client or a third party will be forfeited.
- Any payments and deposits received will be confirmed via email.
- All payments are to be made to Sunjet Travel via bank transfer.
Cancellation
- The client may cancel the holiday at any time providing that the cancellation is made by the client and has communicated in writing.
- Any deposits paid in advance by the client or a third party will be forfeited.
Holiday Cancellation
- If for any reason Chaperoned Holidays have to cancel any pre-booked holiday, we will fully refund any payments made in advance.
Airlines and Transport
- Chaperoned Holidays act only as sole contracted agents for Sunjet Travels.
- The named clients for all carriers are subject to the ticket or transport conditions and regulations of the carriers.
- Chaperoned Holidays are not responsible for any loss incurred by any transport carrier for delays or cancellations by the carrier.
Accommodation
- Accommodation is based on a single room shared by two people.
- Each room will consist of a twin bed or two single beds as per hotel criteria.
- Should you have any specific requirements please advise us at the time of booking.
Passport & Visa
- All clients are personally responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports.
- All clients are personally responsible for ensuring that they have the relevant visa or visas if required by the country they are visiting, according to there passport.

Health & fitness
- Advice on health requirements should be obtained from your GP in writing.
Alterations by Chaperoned Holidays
- Chaperoned Holidays will do the utmost to provide the trip arrangements that have been confirmed, but must retain the right to modify or cancel any trip, flight schedule, accommodation or arrangement, if unforeseen circumstances arise.
- In such circumstances, Chaperoned Holidays will inform the client as soon as possible.
- Should the change be such that it alters the nature of the trip, Chaperoned Holidays shall give the client the choice of an alternative trip or a full refund of all payments made.
- Chaperoned Holidays shall not cancel any trip for the reason of political tension or natural disaster unless specifically ordered to do so by any Foreign Office.
Alterations by Traveller
- Chaperoned Holidays will do their best to make any alterations the client may require after confirmation has been issued.
- Any such alterations are subject to availability and payment for any increased costs relevant to the alteration.
- Any requests for alterations to any itinerary should be made in writing.
- Any alterations cannot be guaranteed by Chaperoned Holidays.
Tour or Excursion Cancellation
- If Chaperoned Holidays have to cancel any pre-booked excursion or tour whilst abroad due to bad weather or other reasons beyond one’s control the client will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.
Travel Insurance
- It is imperative that the client take out adequate travel insurance for Chaperoned Holidays
- Particular care should be taken to ensure that the client has cover for cancellation of air travel, rail transport, ferry companies, coach or bus transport, and emergency repatriation in the event of medical issues and injury.
- Chaperoned Holidays will require evidence of the client’s travel insurance at least eight weeks prior to departure or at the time of booking.
- Chaperoned Holidays reserve the right to terminate the client booking if the client fails to obtain adequate travel insurance cover within the time stated and any payment made by the client or third party will be forfeited.
Baggage and personal items
- Baggage and personal items remain the client’s responsibility at all times.
- Chaperoned Holidays are not responsible for any loss or damage to the client’s baggage or personal items.
Chaperones
- Where applicable any chaperone in conjunction with the appropriate medical advice if applicable, has the right to refuse any client at any time during the course of the tour, if considered necessary for the medical well-being or safety of the individual.
- If in the opinion of the chaperone, a client’s actions materially are affecting the enjoyment of the tour for the remainder of the group, reserves the right to exempt them from any further engaged activity and in this case, the client will comply.
Photographs & videos
- Photographs & videos will be taken of all clients by the chaperones throughout the holiday duration.
- Photographs and videos will be used by Chaperoned Holidays on their website and multimedia channels for advertising purposes only.
Meals and drinks
- It remains the client’s responsibility to inform Chaperoned Holiday’s of any food allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking and at any time meals are served during the course of the trip.
- Meals included in Chaperoned Holidays packages are breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Alcohol is not included with any package.
Chaperoned Holidays Liabilities
- Chaperoned Holidays do not exclude or limit any liability to our clients which may arise from proven negligence by any person employed directly by us or by our suppliers and subcontractors or agents of the same whilst acting in the course of their employment (other than air and sea carriers performing any domestic internal or international carriage of whatsoever kind) in respect of death, bodily injury or illness.
- Such liabilities shall be subject to English law and all proceedings shall be within the exclusive domain of the English courts.
- Chaperoned Holidays shall endeavor to assist the clients in the event of illness, injury or death during the period of the trip.
- We accept responsibility for ensuring that all parts of the trip are supplied as described and that all services shall reach a reasonable standard.
- These obligations and responsibilities shall be limited where international conventions in respect of air or sea carriers apply.
- Chaperoned Holidays cannot assume responsibility for loss or expense due to war, riots, strikes, terrorist activities or natural disasters.
Data Protection
- Chaperoned Holidays have measures in place to protect the personal booking information held by us.
- This information will be passed on to the relevant suppliers of any travel arrangements.
- The information may also be provided to public authorities such as customs or immigration and security if required by them, or as required by law.

Financial Protection
- All flights are financially protected by the ATOL scheme.
- Prior to departure, you will receive an ATOL Certificate via email.
- If Chaperoned Holidays have to cancel any pre-booked excursion or tour due to bad weather or other reasons beyond one’s control the client will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.
- If for any reason Chaperoned Holidays have to cancel any pre-booked holiday, we will fully refund any payments made in advance.
